Santa Rosa Junior College provides matriculation services for students
enrolled in certain noncredit course categories, such as: Elementary and
Secondary Basic Skills, English as a Second Language, Students with Substantial
Disabilities, and Short-Term Vocational Courses.
Services available for noncredit students at Santa Rosa Junior College
include Admissions, Orientation, Assessment and Counseling/Advising and
are based on the premise that these services are vital to the full participation,
retention and matriculation of noncredit students, particularly those
transitioning into or back into the workforce.
Admissions
Registration for noncredit classes is a simple process. Completion of
the one-page registration form is the student’s application to noncredit
programs and services. As soon as the registration form is completed and
received by Admissions and Records, the student is registered. Registration
forms are available at the Admissions and Records Office and from instructors
in the classroom. Students may also register on line at http://www.santarosa.edu/admissions.
Assistance to completing the registration form is available for students
with special needs. Classes are open-entry/open-exit and students may
register anytime during the school year, provided there is space available
in the class or program.
