health-care organizations formed the Sonoma County Healthcare
Workforce Development Roundtable to collaboratively address
the health-care labor shortages locally and nationwide. The key goals
of the Roundtable's 21 active organizations include:
Expand academic and financial support for students pursuing health-care
careers
Increase the number of bilingual and bicultural health-care workers
Strengthen the partnership between health care and educational providers
